We import components from multiple countries, assemble machines, and export them to multiple countries. We are implementing SAP B1 (ERP) to handle all our accounting and finance transactions. Full SAP B1 training will be provided. The company is looking for an experienced accountant , fluent in English, with extensive experience interacting with the rs.ge portal . The accountant reports to the Financial Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Accounting Transactions: Handle accounting transactions and post them in SAP, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets; • Transition Period: Run the accounting in SAP B1 in parallel with our current accounting provider, and reconcile the two sets of records every month until SAP B1 becomes the official system; • Payment Processing: Prepare and execute domestic and international payment orders via electronic banking systems; • Inventory & Purchasing: Post inventory, purchase and material-usage transactions in SAP; • Cost Tracking: Record every transaction against the correct business line and cost center, and invoice workshop and laser-cutting services; • Month-End Close: Prepare month-end closing entries and reconciliations in SAP, and support the year-end closing process under the Financial Manager's direction; • Monthly Declarations: Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations (VAT, Withholding Tax, Pension, and Profit Tax) via the rs.ge portal; • Waybill & Invoice Management: Issue electronic tax invoices and waybills and keep them synchronized between SAP and the Revenue Service; • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly reports and schedules requested by the Financial Manager; • Compliance & Audit: Prepare reports and documentation from SAP for external auditors and the Revenue Service; • Multi-Currency: Manage multi-currency transactions (GEL, EUR, USD and others) and ensure exchange rate gains/losses are recorded correctly within SAP; • Tax Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations between the company's internal SAP balances and the unified tax card on rs.ge to ensure zero discrepancies; • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on changes in the Georgian Tax Code to ensure all rs.ge submissions remain compliant with local law. Required Qualifications & Skills: • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; • Languages: Fluent Georgian and a good command of English (primary working language is English); • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering or project-based companies; • rs.ge: Solid hands-on experience with declarations, electronic tax invoices and waybills; • Technical Expertise: Experience with at least one ERP or accounting system; hands-on SAP Business One experience is a strong plus; • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and reconciliations); • Attention to Detail: An "eagle eye" for discrepancies and a commitment to data hygiene; • Analytical Thinking: The ability to spot, explain and correct unusual balances and differences.
