We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Accounting Specialist to join our corporate team in Tbilisi! What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities): Daily Accounting Operations: Maintain accurate financial records, handle accounts payable/receivable, and manage daily store cash flow reconciliations. Tax & Compliance: Prepare and submit local tax declarations (VAT, profit tax, income tax) in strict compliance with the Tax Code of Georgia. Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as management reports for both local leadership and global headquarters. Banking & Payments: Manage bank transactions, currency conversions, and coordinate with local banks. Audit Support: Assist internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards (RS.ge) and IFRS. What We Are Looking For (Requirements): Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in accounting (experience in retail or FMCG is a major plus). Software Skills: High proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with local accounting software (e.g., Oris, 1C) and electronic tax portals (RS.ge). Knowledge of global ERP systems (like SAP) is an advantage. Languages: Fluency in Georgian and working proficiency in English (as you will interact with regional teams).
