Role Overview The Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for accurately processing supplier invoices and payments, maintaining accounts payable records, and ensuring compliance with Hilton policies and accounting standards. Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager within the Finance Department, this role works closely with internal departments and suppliers to support smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities • Process and verify supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time, matching invoices with Purchase Orders and supporting documents. • Reconcile supplier statements, identify discrepancies, and assist with vendor management and new supplier setup. • Prepare invoices, prepayments, accruals, and journal entries. • Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and maintain accurate vendor records and Accounts Payable accounts. • Ensure full compliance with Hilton financial policies and international accounting standards. • Collaborate effectively with Finance and operational departments to ensure seamless financial workflows.
