This individual will work at the intersection of Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic systems, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), cloud infrastructure, and application engineering to build scalable AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable business impact. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building production AI applications, developing multi-agent workflows, integrating AI systems with enterprise data sources, and deploying solutions within cloud environments. This person should be comfortable owning projects from design through production deployment while collaborating closely with product, engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design and develop agentic AI applications using modern LLM frameworks and orchestration platforms. Build and optimize RAG pipelines leveraging vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge sources. Develop AI-powered services and APIs using Python and modern backend frameworks. Create and maintain cloud-native AI infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Implement observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks for AI systems. Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver AI solutions. Evaluate model performance, retrieval quality, latency, and overall user experience. Implement security, governance, and responsible AI controls. Support CI/CD processes and production deployments for AI services. Stay current on emerging AI technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms. Must Have Qualifications 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python development skills. Experience building AI/ML applications utilizing LLMs. Hands-on experience with RAG architectures and vector search technologies. Experience developing agentic or multi-agent solutions using tools such as LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, or similar frameworks. Experience building APIs and backend services using FastAPI, Flask, or comparable technologies. Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with Docker and modern deployment practices. Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, APIs, databases, and system design. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI, Azure AI Foundry, or Copilot Studio.
