Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant role based in Tbilisi. The Assistant will be responsible for performing and supporting daily accounting and bookkeeping activities in accordance with IFRS, applicable tax requirements, and current legislation. The role includes the maintenance of accounting records, archiving, and control of financial documentation, as well as execution of bank transfers. Key responsibilities include the preparation of tax declarations as required under the Tax Code of Georgia, calculation of taxes, and preparation of accounting-related reports such as tax returns, statistical reports, and other relevant filings. The Assistant will also support tax and annual audits, maintain the register of customers and vendors, and ensure proper tracking and timing for reconciliation processes. Responsibilities further include controlling and posting accounting documents, maintaining the fixed assets register, and ensuring the accuracy of data recorded in the accounting system in compliance with primary documentation. Additional duties include reviewing and verifying contracts from a tax, accounting, and settlement perspective in accordance with contractual terms, as well as ensuring timely and accurate settlements with suppliers, employees (including payroll-related payments), and tax authorities. The role operates under the direct supervision of the Senior Accountant and the Head of Office. Qualifications Higher education in Business Administration/Finance/Economy or related field; Experience working with Accounting Documents (delivery notes, invoices on RS.ge); At least 1 year of experience in this field; Accounting programs 1C and Oris is a plus; High level knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel is a must); English is a must; Analytical and critical thinking; Attention to details
