Position Information Position:Barista Company:Blue Elephant Café Location:Batumi, Europe Square, 8 Nodar Dumbadze Street Salary:1,200 GEL + 10% bonus from alcohol sales Employment:Full-time Working Schedule October – May Working hours: 09:00–18:00 Schedule: 5 working days / 2 days off Summer Season – June, July, August & September Working hours: 09:00–21:00 Schedule: 2 working days / 2 days off About the Job Blue Elephant Café mainly operates in the breakfast and brunch segment. Our busiest period is generally from approximately 11:00 until 15:00–16:00. Coffee is an important part of our concept, and our menu includes a wide variety of coffee beverages. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has good practical knowledge of coffee preparation and can work confidently during busy service hours. After approximately 14:00, we also receive occasional orders for cocktails and alcoholic beverages. Basic knowledge and experience with alcoholic beverages and simple cocktails will therefore be considered an advantage. Main Responsibilities Preparing espresso-based coffee and other beverages according to café standards Maintaining consistent quality and presentation of drinks Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages when required Working efficiently during busy breakfast and brunch hours Providing friendly and professional customer service Keeping the bar and coffee station clean and organized Monitoring stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, beverages, and bar products Following hygiene, food-safety, and workplace standards Properly using and maintaining coffee machines, grinders, and bar equipment Cooperating with waiters, kitchen staff, and management Candidate Requirements Previous barista experience is preferred Good knowledge of different coffee varieties and preparation methods Ability to correctly operate an espresso machine and coffee grinder Understanding of milk preparation and basic coffee presentation Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and basic cocktails is an advantage Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours Responsible, punctual, organized, and clean Friendly and professional attitude toward guests Ability to work as part of a team Willingness to follow Blue Elephant Café's service and quality standards Trial / Test Days Selected candidates may be invited for 1–2 paid trial working days. The purpose of the trial period is to evaluate practical barista skills, speed, beverage quality, cleanliness, organization, and ability to work with the team. Trial working days are paid.
