Working under the supervision of a manager, the role involves collaborating with physicians and care teams to evaluate patient needs, develop treatment plans, and coordinate safe discharge and referrals. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed clinical assessments, including suicide risk evaluations, in emergency and acute care settings. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support systems to create individualized, integrated treatment plans. Assist with patient discharge planning, legal holds, and referrals to appropriate care levels. Document assessments, safety plans, and patient contacts accurately in electronic medical records. Participate in service initiatives, adhere to ethical standards, and maintain confidentiality. Qualifications & Skills MSW from an accredited school or master's degree in professional counseling from a CACREP-accredited program. Licenses including GA Licensure as Associate Professional Counselor or Master Social Worker, with required certifications such as BLS. Minimum of 3 years' experience working with adult and/or child mental health populations. Effective verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of behavioral health best practices, and proficiency in technology and telehealth tools.
