Blockchain Analyst

About the Company The Company is a non-custodial crypto exchange, providing digital asset exchange services through a secure online platform. The Company enables eligible and fully verified customers to convert fiat currency into crypto-assets, crypto-assets into fiat currency, and one crypto-asset into another. Position Summary The Blockchain Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analysing blockchain transactions, identifying potential financial crime risks, and supporting the Company's compliance and risk management functions. The role involves conducting blockchain investigations, assessing wallet risk profiles, reviewing transaction patterns, and providing analytical insights to support AML/CFT, sanctions compliance, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyse blockchain transactions using blockchain analytics tools. Conduct wallet and transaction investigations to identify suspicious activity and financial crime risks. Assess the risk profiles of crypto wallets, counterparties, and digital asset transactions. Support AML/CFT, KYT, sanctions screening, and fraud prevention processes. Investigate unusual transaction patterns and escalate high-risk cases where appropriate. Prepare analytical reports and maintain investigation records. Collaborate with the Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Product teams to enhance transaction monitoring controls. Stay informed about emerging blockchain technologies, typologies, and regulatory developments. Qualifications Experience in blockchain analytics, cryptocurrency investigations, AML/CFT, or financial crime compliance. Knowledge of blockchain technology and major digital assets. Experience with blockchain analytics platforms (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, Crystal Intelligence, or similar tools) is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
