Cactus is ready to expand the team with a Business Controller in its hub in Tbilisi, Georgia. In this role, you will monitor financial health and support strategic decisions. You'll manage financial operations, reporting, and client contracts, working closely with Directors and departments including Sales, Project Management, and HR. What you will do: Financial Management and Accounting · Take ownership in the overall financial administration and accounting processes in all legal entities (Georgia, Spain, Belgium). You are in contact with the local accounting firms and support bank relations. · Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings. · Support and coordinate the yearly budget and periodic forecasts. Management Reporting · Prepare and present periodic financial reports and KPIs to the director & management team, including weekly cash flow forecasts, monthly revenue reports and monthly profit & loss statements. · Analyze financial data to provide insights into operational efficiency and profitability. · Identify financial risks and recommend mitigating measures. · Advise management on strategic initiatives based on financial analysis. Contract Management and Client Relations: · Support the negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts with clients. · Participate in projects where Cactus delivers agentic financial projects as a subject matter expert · Try out off-the-shelve tooling (AI agentic software in finance) Internal Collaboration: · Drive continuous improvement of the processes and systems through further automation and process standardization, including agentic-AI · Are a strong, value-adding partner and work closely with the Directors and Management team. · Act as a local “connector” in the Georgian team: take initiatives to make it a stronger team, liaise with other companies in the IT-sphere, participate actively in the ecosystem Specific administration duties in Georgia · As the CEO is not a resident in Georgia you support the execution of the local director’s role, i.e. signing paperwork on behalf of the CEO & group, executing tax payments. What we expect: · You graduated as a Bachelor or Master, preferably in an economically oriented specialization. (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field) · You have a working experience of minimum 3 years in a similar job. Preferably in an IT service environment, big four consultancy or a similar industry. · You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset. You are driven by analytics and figures; you like to be creative in your search for solutions. · You have good IT skills: i n-depth knowledge of Excel is a must, and knowledge of Odoo is added value. · You are an excellent communicator, and you are a team player. · You have an excellent understanding of confidentiality and demonstrated adherence to it. · You are ambitious, entrepreneurial and eager to learn · You speak fluent Georgian and English, both written and spoken. Speaking other languages like Russian, Spanish or Dutch is a nice to have.
