Job Overview Job Summary** Primoris Distribution Services, Inc. is seeking experienced and safety-conscious CDL Drivers to join our team in Georgia. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment, playing a vital part in our distribution operations. Job Responsibilities** Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all DOT regulations, company policies, and state laws. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers, documenting any defects or issues. Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Transport various materials and equipment to designated locations within Georgia. Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and other required paperwork. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members. Adhere to delivery schedules and routes, adjusting as necessary due to traffic or weather conditions. Perform basic maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Represent Primoris Distribution Services, Inc. professionally at all times. Job Qualifications** Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience. Current DOT medical card. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) is preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, as required.
