Key Responsibilities Conducts ambulatory intake, including patient interviews, vital signs, medical history, and documenting findings in EMR. Assists physicians during exams and procedures, prepares exam rooms, and offers patient education and support. Performs lab tests, administers vaccines and injections, and maintains exam room cleanliness and supplies. Handles front office tasks such as registration, scheduling, insurance authorization, and payment collection. Answers triage calls, documents patient interactions, and communicates with providers as needed. Ensures compliance with policies and maintains a safe, organized clinical environment. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or GED; Medical Assisting certification required. Current BLS certification and medical assistant credentials (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or MedCA). Minimum one year outpatient experience; preferred in relevant specialty. Valid driver’s license if working in virtual care or wellness services. Proficient in phlebotomy, EKG, manual BP, and basic clinical skills.
