As we enter the next stage of growth, we are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to strengthen our operational excellence, build scalable processes, and help lead the company into its next phase. Position Summary The Chief Operating Officer will oversee the day-to-day operations [AV1.1]of Kursi.ge and ensure effective execution of the company's strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO [AV2.1]and Board, the COO will work across Treasury, Operations[AV3.1], Technology, Finance, and Legal & Compliance to build a scalable, efficient, and well-governed organization. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Operational Leadership - Lead the daily operations of Kursi.ge[AV4.1] - Translate strategy into measurable execution plans[AV5.1] - Build a high-performance culture with clear ownership and accountability - Establish and monitor KPIs across departments - Lead quarterly business planning and operational reviews Treasury Management - Oversee treasury operations, liquidity management and FX execution - Improve treasury processes, reporting and operational efficiency[AV6.1] - Support funding initiatives and optimize payment channels Operations & Transaction Management - Improve operational processes through automation and technology - Strengthen internal controls and operational risk management - Ensure efficient, secure and scalable transaction operations Legal & Compliance - Oversee regulatory compliance and reporting - Coordinate with legal advisors and regulatory authorities - Ensure strong governance across the organization Partnership with Technology & Innovation - Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to improve operational efficiency - Support delivery of strategic initiatives and new products - Drive continuous improvement through technology and innovation Required Qualifications - 5+ years of senior management experience - Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, banking or foreign exchange - Experience leading multidisciplinary teams - Experience working with regulators and financial institutions - Strong analytical, commercial and operational mindset Leadership Qualities - Calm, balanced and emotionally intelligent leader - Able to remain composed and make sound decisions under pressure - Creates a positive and supportive working environment - Builds trust through integrity, consistency and transparency - Excellent communicator who aligns teams around common goals - Leads by example and develops people rather than micromanaging them Skills Strategic leadership, Operational excellence, Financial management, Process optimization, Regulatory knowledge, Project management, Data-driven decision making, Negotiation, Team building Success in the Role The successful COO will build the operational backbone of Kursi.ge, helping transform the company from a fast-growing startup into a scalable, institution-grade financial services business.
