## Job description

Chief Operating Officer (COO) We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to manage and continuously improve the day-to-day operations of our company. Our company employs approximately 80 people and operates in the furniture components and related products sector. The COO will be responsible for managing the company’s operational functions excluding Sales and Purchasing , ensuring that departments work efficiently, processes are properly controlled, and operational performance is continuously improved. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the company’s overall daily operations, excluding Sales and Purchasing Oversee warehouse operations, logistics, inventory handling, and distribution Supervise administrative and operational departments and ensure effective cooperation between teams Establish clear operational procedures, responsibilities, and control mechanisms Develop and monitor departmental and employee KPIs Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements Ensure proper stock handling, warehouse organization, and inventory control Monitor delivery performance, vehicle utilization, and logistics efficiency Ensure company procedures and internal policies are followed consistently Improve document flow, record keeping, and operational controls Work closely with Finance, HR, IT, Sales, and Purchasing to ensure smooth cross-functional operations Participate in recruitment and performance evaluation of operational managers and key employees Prepare regular operational reports for the CEO Identify operational risks and implement preventive controls Lead automation and process-digitalization initiatives where appropriate Build a culture of accountability, discipline, efficiency, and continuous improvement Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years of management experience , preferably in operations, logistics, distribution, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, or a related sector Proven experience managing multiple departments and teams Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics operations Experience implementing KPIs, procedures, and internal controls Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to identify problems and take ownership of their resolution Strong leadership and people-management skills Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment Experience with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will be considered an advantage Good knowledge of Georgian; English and/or Russian will be considered an advantage What We Offer Monthly salary: 7,000–8,000 GEL , depending on experience and qualifications Senior management position reporting directly to the CEO Significant authority to improve and restructure operational processes Opportunity to have a direct impact on the efficiency and development of a growing company Stable, long-term employment Location Tbilisi, Georgia We are looking for a COO who does not simply monitor operations from an office, but actively understands processes, identifies weaknesses, works with department managers, and ensures that agreed improvements are actually implemented.
