26 October TAV Georgia is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Civil Engineer . Location: Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, Tbilisi, Georgia Contract Type: Full-time Main Duties/Responsibilities: ** Supervise and monitor civil and construction works performed by the outsourced construction company. ** Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify that construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project requirements and applicable standards; ** Monitor the quality and progress of ongoing construction works and promptly identify deviations, defects, delays or other technical issues; ** Verify that construction methods, technologies and materials used by the contractor comply with approved project documentation and required technical standards; ** Review and verify completed work quantities, measurements and construction volumes against approved plans and actual site conditions; ** Monitor the use of construction materials and verify their conformity with approved specifications and project requirements; ** Follow up on identified deficiencies and non-conformities and ensure that corrective actions are properly implemented by the construction company; ** Participate in inspections and acceptance of completed construction works and provide technical comments and recommendations where necessary; ** Maintain accurate records of site inspections, construction progress, identified issues and corrective actions, and prepare regular technical reports for management; ** Review relevant drawings, plans and technical documentation and support clarification of technical issues arising during construction; ** Coordinate closely with the outsourced construction company, project team, Technical Department and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective execution of works; ** Immediately escalate significant technical deviations, quality concerns or potential risks that may affect project execution, safety or deadlines; Main Requirements: ** Higher education in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related engineering field; ** Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Civil Engineer or in civil construction/maintenance works; ** Good knowledge of construction processes, technologies, materials and quality requirements; ** Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and technical drawings; ** Experience in quantity calculations, preparation of work scopes and material estimates; ** Good knowledge of AutoCAD/Archicad; ** Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook; ** Knowledge of relevant Georgian construction regulations, technical standards and occupational safety requirements; ** Good knowledge of English language. ** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ** Good planning, organization and priority-setting skills; ** Ability to respond effectively to technical problems and work under pressure; ** High sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail; ** Strong communication and teamwork skills; ** Ability to effectively coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
