Role Description This full-time Commercial HVAC Service Technician role is a hybrid position based in Georgia, combining on-site work at customer locations with some work-from-home tasks such as documentation and remote system monitoring. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems, performing routine and preventive maintenance, and diagnosing complex mechanical and control issues. The technician will respond to service calls, perform system inspections, and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams. The role also involves using digital tools for work order management, maintaining accurate service records, adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with dispatch and project managers to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery. Qualifications Strong technical skills in commercial HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and basic controls. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment manuals, and service reports. Proficiency with digital tools and cloud-based service platforms for work orders, scheduling, documentation, and customer communication. Solid customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language. Experience working safely with mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems, following OSHA and industry safety standards. Relevant certifications such as EPA 608, HVAC trade school diploma, or equivalent field experience in commercial HVAC service. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to customer sites throughout Georgia and nearby regions as needed.
