## Job description

Guided by Montessori principles, it encourages children to become self-motivated, responsible, and confident learners. Educators work collaboratively with families to create a nurturing atmosphere that supports each child’s unique potential. Role Description The Computer Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging computer science and digital literacy lessons to students in line with Montessori methodologies. Day-to-day tasks include developing age-appropriate curricula, teaching basic to intermediate computer skills, introducing programming concepts, and integrating technology into classroom projects. The role involves assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, and collaborating with other teachers to support interdisciplinary learning. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tbilisi, requiring regular communication with parents and guardians about student development. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and familiarity with educational technologies and software tools. Practical Programming experience suitable for teaching children and adolescents, including introductory coding concepts. Excellent Communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to students and families. Experience in Curriculum Development, particularly in designing technology or computer-related learning modules. Proven Teaching experience, preferably in Montessori or child-centered educational settings. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Ability to create inclusive, respectful classroom environments that support diverse learning needs. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a collaborative approach to working with staff and families. Fluency in English; knowledge of Georgian is an advantage.
