Crew Manager
Job description
Responsibilities Manage the full crew recruitment and manning process for assigned vessels.Source, evaluate, and select qualified seafarers based on client requirements.Plan and coordinate crew changes and vessel rotations.Verify the validity of certificates, licenses, medicals, visas, and other required documentation.Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew records in the crewing database.Communicate with shipowners, managers, masters, agents, and seafarers regarding crew matters.Coordinate employment contracts, travel arrangements, visas, and joining instructions.Ensure compliance with MLC 2006, STCW, flag state requirements, and company procedures.Supervise and support Crew Operators, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.Prepare operational reports and monitor crew planning schedules.Maintain a high level of service quality and promptly resolve operational issues. QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.Minimum 1 year of experience as a Crew Manager or in a similar crewing position.Strong knowledge of MLC 2006, STCW, and international maritime regulations.B2 English (written and spoken).Proficiency in Microsoft Office and crewing management software.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
