Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to optimize imaging at the lowest dose (ALARA). Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment, report issues promptly. Gather clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients accurately. Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and provide age-appropriate care. Administer contrast, position patients properly, and ensure safety measures such as shielding and immobilization. Review images for quality, repeat or correct as needed, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows. Assist with compliance, maintain organized work areas, and support departmental operations. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support).
