Key Responsibilities Perform CT procedures accurately, obtaining clinical history, screening for contraindications, and verifying orders. Explain procedures, prepare patients, and address questions to reduce anxiety using AIDET communication. Ensure patient privacy, comfort, and safety, providing age-appropriate care throughout the visit. Administer contrast agents and perform venipuncture using sterile techniques when necessary. Position patients correctly, apply shielding, and review images for diagnostic quality, repeating as needed. Document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS, ensuring proper study finalization and retrieval. Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and maintain life-support equipment. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and equipment functionality, supporting department workflows and compliance. Collaborate with team members to support department efficiency and uphold regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiology. Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
