Key responsibilities include obtaining patient history, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast via venipuncture, and accurately documenting studies in RIS/PACS. The technologist monitors patient conditions, responds to emergencies, maintains equipment and infection control, and supports department workflow.
