Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a დამხმარე ბუღალტერი (Assistant Accountant) based in Tbilisi. The Assistant Accountant will support senior accountants with day-to-day bookkeeping, data entry, and preparation of financial documents. Responsibilities include assisting with tax calculations and filings, maintaining accurate records in accounting software, and helping prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating with the accounting team to ensure compliance with local regulations, responding to basic client inquiries, and contributing to the timely completion of monthly and annual closing activities. Qualifications Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices; ability to work with ledgers, journal entries, and basic financial reports. Experience or familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel; comfort with working in digital systems and learning new tools. Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills for handling multiple tasks and deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills in Georgian; basic proficiency in English or other languages is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and to follow established procedures and guidelines. Degree or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred; prior internship or practical experience in accounting is a plus. Strong ethical standards, respect for confidentiality, and willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic financial services company.
