## Job description

Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Associate Associate (Mid-Level) Location: Atlanta, GA Salary: Competitive / Market Rate Practice Area: Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance Level: 3–6 Years A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its highly regarded Data Privacy & Cybersecurity and Regulatory Compliance practice in Atlanta. The successful candidate will work on sophisticated government investigations, enforcement actions, litigation and regulatory counselling matters involving data privacy, cybersecurity, advertising and marketing practices, consumer protection and consumer financial services. Candidates should have 3–6 years of relevant litigation, investigations or regulatory experience, ideally including defending or assisting clients in government investigations and enforcement actions involving the FTC, CFPB, state attorneys general or other regulators. Experience advising on state, federal and international privacy laws, including the GDPR, CCPA and emerging privacy regulations, is highly desirable, alongside experience responding to CIDs, subpoenas and regulatory inquiries and conducting related internal investigations. Applicants should possess a J.D. with strong academic credentials and excellent legal research, writing, analytical and advocacy skills. Georgia Bar admission, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly, is required, while previous government, judicial clerkship or relevant in-house experience would be advantageous. Ref #TPOPS
