Most of JSC Rustavi Azot’s sales are export-oriented, offering team members exposure to international markets and industrial standards. Role Description The DCS Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tbilisi, supporting operations at JSC Rustavi Azot’s production facilities. The DCS Operator monitors and controls plant processes through the Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring stable operations, product quality, and adherence to safety and environmental standards. Daily tasks include adjusting process parameters, responding to alarms, coordinating with field operators, logging operational data, and reporting deviations or incidents to supervisors. The role also involves assisting with start-up and shutdown procedures, participating in routine inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reliability. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Process Control skills, including experience with Distributed Control System (DCS) operations and monitoring complex chemical processes. Candidates should possess knowledge of Refineries and Distillation processes, with the ability to understand flow diagrams, equipment functions, and process interactions. Candidates should possess Supervisory Skills relevant to coordinating with field staff, supporting shift activities, and communicating clearly with the operations team. Relevant technical education in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related discipline is beneficial. Experience in fertilizer or chemical manufacturing plants, familiarity with safety standards, and willingness to work in rotating shifts are advantageous.
