Energy Project Lawyer at upco-holding (Tbilisi). Deadline 08 October.
08 October Step into the role: We`re looking for an Energy Project Lawyer to provide legal support for the planning, construction, licensing, and operation of energy projects, including hydroelectric, solar and wind power plants, as well as oil and gas pipelines. What you`ll do: ** Prepare and review Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) ** Manage legal aspects of obtaining required licenses and environmental permits ** Handle land and property matters, including acquisition, lease, easement, and ownership rights ** Support regulatory matters related to tariffs, grid connection, and compliance requirements ** Draft and review Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and operational agreements ** Identify and mitigate contractual and project-related legal risks What you bring: ** Bachelor`s degree in law ** Around 3 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or corporate environment ** Experience in corporate/commercial law and contracts ** Advanced English, both written and spoken ** Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills ** Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure Nice to Have: ** Experience in energy, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects ** Experience with PPAs, EPC contracts, licensing, or regulatory matters ** Bar admission ** Knowledge of additional languages Salary: 2, 000-3, 000 GEL Tbilisi, Georgia, Lisi | Onsite Working Hours: 10:00-19:00, Monday to Friday Days Off: Saturday and Sunday Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
