## Job description

MEDvidi is an AI-powered mental healthcare platform setting a new standard for safe, effective, and scalable psychiatric care in the United States. We combine licensed providers with proprietary AI tools to deliver consistent, outcomes-driven treatment for conditions like ADHD, anxiety, depression, and more. MEDvidi's technology automates charting, follow-ups, and treatment planning, freeing providers to focus on patient care while improving efficiency and clinical quality. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to join the leadership of one of our engineering tracks. This is a leadership role, not delivery management. People management is the baseline here, not the job. What we are actually hiring for is the person who sees what needs to change across the engineering organization and changes it, without being asked and without waiting for permission. Responsibilities: Drive engineering-wide initiatives. Technical and non-technical, beyond the boundary of your own teams. You spot what is slowing the organization down, you take it, you change it, and you can show the before and after in numbers. Enable engineers instead of directing them. Our engineers own their delivery, their hiring decisions and their technical direction. Your job is to create the conditions where good ideas surface, get heard and move forward, and to remove what blocks them, not to become the layer they route through. Own the people baseline. Hire, onboard, grow engineers at multiple levels. Set a clear bar for individual performance and address underperformance early, openly and fairly. This part is expected to be solid, and it is not what makes the difference in this role. Make AI a lever for the organization, not for yourself. Every engineer here generates most of their code with agents. You are expected to push that further: adoption, practices, and what we can do now that we could not do a year ago. Partner with product managers to ship user experiences that are intuitive, reliable and well built, while teams stay autonomous in how they execute. This role is not for you if You measure your success as an EM by delivery timelines and sprint velocity. You want to review code, own architecture, or be the technical authority. You need a task list from leadership, or a PM/BA layer to hand you requirements. You expect team leads, architects, or a management layer to work through. Your background is primarily delivery management, project management, or agency work. You don't use AI agents in your daily work and don't want to. Your strongest impact story is about getting people to talk to each other. Requirements: 3+ years managing engineers in a product company (not agency, not outsourcing). Two or three examples of engineering or process change you started yourself, drove end to end, and measured, where the effect reached beyond your own team. Comfortable being hands-off: no code, no architecture ownership, no technical authority, and you won't miss it. Experience working without a layer of team leads and architects between you and the engineers, or experience removing that layer yourself. You have handled underperformance early and transparently, and you have grown senior-level engineers. Agentic AI is already part of how you work, and you have driven its adoption beyond yourself. You make decisions without complete information, prioritize sharply, and say so when you have taken on too much. You communicate openly: full context, your own mistakes named first, correctness over personal preference. Decisions grounded in logic, data and multiple perspectives; "best practice" is not an argument until you explain why it applies here. Fluent Russian. What we offer: High-impact environment: A chance to contribute to a product-driven company in the medical tech space. Growth & compensation: Clear growth opportunities and a competitive compensation package. Remote-first: Fully remote long-term collaboration under a B2B model. Health & wellness: Health insurance after the probation period, plus sports & wellness compensation. Career development: Clear growth opportunities, including personalized English lessons via Preply. Time off: 22 paid vacation days annually, 5 additional wellness days each year, and paid sick leave for the first 5 working days. Culture: Thoughtful gifts for key life events and offline corporate events. Ready to make an impact? Send us your profile, let's build something meaningful together. MEDvidi is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and contractors. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
