Company Description Virtual Kids Center Tbilisi is a boutique English-immersion enrichment center for children ages 5–12, located in Didi Digomi, one of Tbilisi’s fastest-growing residential districts near QSI International School of Tbilisi. The center uses a project-based, hands-on learning model with a high activity ratio and minimal worksheets, creating an engaging environment where everything happens in English. VKC serves both expat and local Georgian families who value immersive, experience-based learning. The team is small, collaborative, and focused on meaningful engagement rather than traditional, worksheet-driven instruction. Role Description The English Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Tbilisi, responsible for leading small-group English-immersion sessions for children ages 5–12. Day-to-day tasks include designing and delivering project-based lessons, facilitating hands-on activities, and maintaining an all-English classroom environment that supports language development through play, exploration, and collaboration. The teacher will plan and adapt lessons to different age groups and proficiency levels, monitor student progress, and provide regular feedback to families. Additional responsibilities include preparing learning materials, contributing to curriculum development, participating in team meetings, and helping create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience working with children ages 5–12 in an immersive or interactive setting. Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design project-based, hands-on learning experiences with minimal reliance on worksheets. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families. Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field, and/or TEFL/TESOL or similar certification are highly beneficial. Additional beneficial skills include classroom management, creativity in developing activities, cultural sensitivity, and prior experience in international or bilingual school environments.
