AKKON LINES is committed to delivering reliable and innovative logistics solutions. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the daily financial and administrative operations of Akkon Georgia. In this role, you will handle accounting tasks, data entry in SAP-B1, invoice processing, and local tax preparations, while working closely with the whole team and Finance and Accounting Manager . Responsibilities: ** Daily Accounting & Data Entry: Process customer/vendor payments, match SAP-B1 records with bank statements, and manage payroll/contract data entry. ** Billing & Collections: Issue invoices, send copies to clients, and follow up on overdue accounts receivable (A/R). ** Reconciliations: Perform routine monthly/yearly reconciliations with customers, vendors, and intercompany accounts (HQ). ** Invoice Verification & Operations: Review and verify port, terminal, and administrative supplier invoices; coordinate with operations to resolve disputes. ** Reporting & Payments: Prepare weekly vendor payment plans and assist in gathering data for weekly profitability and monthly KPI reports. Profile: ** Education: Bachelor`s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. ** Experience: 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the maritime, shipping, or logistics sector. ** Languages: Professional fluency in English. ** Systems: Working with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One (SAP-B1) and advanced Excel skills. ** Skills: Excellent communication skills, high analytical capability and the ability to work under tight corporate deadlines.
