26 August The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Tbilisi is seeking candidates for position of: Forensic Expert Location: Tbilisi About us: The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is a Geneva-based humanitarian organization that protects and assists victims of armed conflicts and other situations of violence without discrimination. It has been providing humanitarian aid in Georgia for more than 25 years. Forensic expert supports the ICRC Delegation in Tbilisi in its efforts to clarify the fate and whereabouts of persons who went missing in connection to the conflicts of the `90s and 2008 and their aftermath. Purpose: The Forensic Expert supports the ICRC`s forensic activities in Georgia, serving as a key focal point for cooperation with the National Forensic Bureau (NFB) in Tbilisi and contributing to effective professional dialogue and coordination. The role provides specialized forensic expertise in support of casework, identification processes and capacity-building activities, in line with recognized scientific standards and best practices.
