## Job description

Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with injuries or diseases. Services are delivered across the continuum, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Treatment Planning and Care: Implements treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, revises goals with patient/family input, provides education, discharge instructions, and referrals. Patient Assessment: collaborates with physicians to develop and evaluate treatment plans, establishing realistic goals and discharge strategies. Documentation: Records evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge plans per departmental protocols. Professional Standards: Upholds ethical practices, maintains confidentiality, punctuality, dress code adherence, effective communication, and participates in meetings and training. Customer Service & Teamwork: Demonstrates respect, fosters collaboration, applies service recovery principles, and promotes positive patient and staff interactions. Professional Development: Engages in ongoing education, completes required competencies, participates in orientation, and adheres to policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy Licenses: Physical Therapist credential and BLS certification Skills: Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills
