Responsibilities extend to facilitating onboarding, precepting staff, and supporting quality improvement (QI), Patient Safety, and Customer Service initiatives. Key Responsibilities Leading the shift by assessing patient needs, assigning tasks, and coordinating interdisciplinary communication. Monitoring staff performance, providing clinical support, and assisting with staff evaluations. Managing equipment inventory, ensuring adequate staffing, and supporting staff training and competency assessments. Promoting professional development through ongoing education and process improvement participation. Evaluating patient care quality through rounds and implementing corrective actions as needed. Participating in quality initiatives to improve safety and patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred). Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP. Minimum of two years’ clinical experience in critical care areas such as ICU, NICU, or Emergency Departments. Strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
