Job Overview Job Summary** Primoris Distribution Services, Inc. is seeking a Gas Laborer to perform physically demanding tasks supporting natural gas pipeline construction and maintenance projects across Georgia. This entry-level position involves assisting skilled craftspeople and operating basic hand and power tools in various outdoor and challenging environments. Job Responsibilities** Perform manual labor duties such as digging trenches, backfilling excavations, and moving materials using shovels, picks, and other hand tools. Assist in the loading and unloading of pipe, equipment, and other materials. Operate power tools and equipment including tampers, jackhammers, and compaction equipment under supervision. Support skilled craftspeople (e.g., pipefitters, welders, operators) in various tasks such as assembling and disassembling equipment, preparing work areas, and providing supplies. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris, trash, and obstructions from the job site. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Flag traffic and direct equipment as needed to ensure safety on and around the job site. Perform general maintenance on tools and equipment as instructed. Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Job Qualifications** High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in construction, labor, or a related field is a plus but not required. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb for extended periods. Possess a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Willingness to travel to various job sites throughout Georgia as needed.
