Head of Bancassurance
Job description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader for the position of Head of Bancassurance to lead the development of this business line, manage partner relationships, and ensure sales growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities Developing and implementing the bank insurance strategy and driving business development in line with the bank's overall goals. Developing sales plans for bank insurance products, monitoring performance, and taking ownership of business results. Managing close and effective relationships with partner insurance companies, leading negotiations, and improving cooperation terms. Developing sales channels (branches, digital platforms) and ensuring their increased efficiency. Analyzing market trends and competitor activities, and initiating the creation of new insurance products tailored to customer needs. Analyzing business results, monitoring KPIs, and preparing reports for the bank's senior leadership. Ensuring all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Qualifications Experience A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Banking. Proven experience in strategic planning and business development. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Exceptional negotiation, partner relationship management, and communication skills. Demonstrated leadership, team management, and motivational abilities. A results-oriented approach and a high sense of responsibility. Technical Skills Competencies In-depth knowledge of the Georgian insurance market, products, and regulatory environment. Experience in financial analysis and PL management. Knowledge of retail banking products and operations. High proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
