Role Description The Hotel General Manager – Tbilisi is responsible for overseeing all hotel operations to ensure an excellent guest experience and profitable performance. This full-time, on-site role in Tbilisi includes managing daily front-of-house and back-of-house activities, supervising department leaders, and ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards and local regulations. The General Manager monitors occupancy, revenue, and cost controls, prepares and reviews financial reports, and implements strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction targets. The role involves leading and developing the team, handling key guest issues, coordinating food & beverage services, and maintaining the property and safety standards. The General Manager also collaborates with corporate teams on marketing initiatives and contributes to long-term business planning for the hotel. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong General Management and Business Management skills to lead hotel operations, guide department heads, and drive overall performance. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service capabilities to ensure high guest satisfaction, resolve issues effectively, and maintain Hilton service standards. Candidates should possess solid Budgeting skills to manage financial planning, control costs, and monitor revenue and profitability. Candidates should possess knowledge of Food & Beverage operations to oversee restaurant, bar, and breakfast services, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. Candidates should ideally have experience in hotel or hospitality management, strong leadership and team-building abilities, and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates should have proficiency in hotel management systems and basic office software, as well as the ability to work with performance metrics and reports. A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant management experience in hotels or similar environments. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local languages and familiarity with the Georgian hospitality market are preferred.
