## Job description

Role Overview: The RN House Supervisor provides hospital-wide leadership, overseeing clinical, operational, financial, human, and material resources in the absence of senior leaders. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate hospital operations, ensuring delivery of safe, quality care while maintaining a positive hospital image. Supervise department supervisors, charge nurses, and assist with staffing, resource allocation, and emergency response. Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement using performance management, Lean Six Sigma, and evidence-based practices. Facilitate effective communication among staff, physicians, patients, and visitors; resolve conflicts and address complaints. Manage hospital surge plans, patient flow, and emergency codes; serve as on-site command center leader during crises. Support staff development, mentor team members, and uphold professional and ethical standards per licensing requirements. Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold safety standards through data analysis and proactive risk mitigation. Collaborate with other facilities to address operational capacity and resource needs. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing, Business Administration, or Health Administration. Active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience and 2 years leadership or supervisory experience. Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities; ability to manage emergency situations effectively. Additional Requirements: Knowledge of hospital policies, safety standards, and performance improvement methods. Ability to foster collaboration, accountability, and a culture of safety across departments.
