HSE Officer at Tbilisi International Airport (Tbilisi). Deadline 15 August.
15 August Position: HSE Officer Department: SMS & QMS Department Location: S hota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, Tbilisi, Georgia Contract Type: Full-time Main Duties/Responsibilities: ** Ensure familiarity with and adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) documentation, management plans, and regulatory requirements. ** Identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement appropriate control measures; document findings and report to responsible personnel. ** Monitor compliance with safety policies, procedures, and legal standards. ** Conduct regular inspections of work areas and ongoing operations; provide recommendations and prepare detailed reports. ** Enforce HSE controls and proactively address potential safety risks or non-conformities. ** Supervise employees to ensure safe work practices and adherence to safety regulations. ** Monitor and manage subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with company HSE standards. ** Organize and deliver HSE trainings, inductions, and toolbox talks to promote a safety culture. ** Oversee the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), uniforms, and safety gear. ** Record, investigate, and report incidents, accidents, and near-misses; analyze root causes and implement corrective actions. ** Stay updated on relevant health and safety legislation; communicate changes to management and establish compliance plans. ** Conduct planned audits, inspections, and investigations in line with Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management Systems (QESMS) standards. ** Carry out additional duties related to maintaining and improving occupational health, safety, and environmental performance. Main Requirements: ** Higher education (Bachelor`s degree or equivalent required). ** Valid certificate from the State accredited occupational safety program. ** Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational/labor safety roles. ** Strong knowledge of Georgian occupational safety legislation and applicable international standards. ** Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required; knowledge of additional foreign languages is considered an asset. ** Certification in environmental protection is an advantage. ** Excellent punctuality and time management skills. ** Strong interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
