## Job description

🔧 HVAC Engineer (1 Position) 📍 Location: Tbilisi, Georgia 📄 Contract Type: Full-time Employment Agreement We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our design team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects while expanding your professional expertise through close collaboration with our talented and dynamic design team. Job Responsibilities Conduct intermediate and final detailed reviews and analysis of the HVAC scope of projects during the pre-construction stage, including but not limited to: Revision of technical specifications; Preparation and verification of Bills of Quantities (BOQ); Analyzing coordination and compatibility with related disciplines such as electrical, structural, architectural, and other systems; identifying discrepancies, documenting them in reports, and communicating with the responsible parties. Participate in value engineering processes aimed at improving project or system functionality through cost reduction and/or quality enhancement, including: Identification and exploring of alternative solutions; Evaluation, selection and recommendation of suitable alternatives. Ensure compliance with applicable local construction codes, standards, and regulations. Support the Project Coordinator within the area of expertise to finalize tender documentation for submission. Review inquiries received during the tender process and prepare appropriate responses while ensuring effective communication. During the construction phase: Review and approve contractor submissions, including submittals, MAFs, shop drawings, and as-built documentation in accordance with project requirements; Review and verify Work Inspection Requests (WIRs). Coordinate with the design team and consultants regarding ongoing technical matters and project-related issues, including: Communicating and resolving discrepancies, evaluating alternatives, and implementing specific technical solutions. Conduct periodic site visits, including: Assisting with on-site HVAC solutions and technical issues; Monitoring project progress and maintaining appropriate communication with stakeholders. Attend project progress meetings to remain continuously informed about project developments and provide technical input or intervention when required within the scope of responsibility. Verify that materials used within the project comply with project specifications, requirements, and operational needs. 🎓 Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant field) At least 5 years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit 🌐 Languages Georgian and English – both good working proficiency 🚀 Why Join Us?
