Key Responsibilities: ** Daily Reconciliation: Audit all daily income and postings from various outlets (POS systems, front office, online platforms) against bank deposits and credit card settlements. ** Discrepancy Investigation: Identify, investigate, and resolve any price variances, voids, or unusual transactions. ** Reporting: Prepare the Daily Revenue Report (DRR) and distribute it to department heads and senior management. ** Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with local laws and internal standard operating procedures (SOPs). ** Journal Entries: Prepare and post monthly journal entries for revenue and adjustments during the month-end closing process. ** Systems Management: Maintain and troubleshoot interfaces between the Point of Sale (POS) and the Property Management System (PMS) or accounting software. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs and experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or industry-specific software like Opera. The "Audit Eye": An almost obsessive attention to detail and a natural skepticism for numbers that don`t "look right."
