Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Tbilisi in a full-time capacity, collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop design concepts for residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating interior layouts, selecting finishes and materials, preparing mood boards, and detailing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications. The role involves producing and reviewing drawings and documentation, coordinating with construction teams to ensure design intent is maintained, and participating in site visits and inspections. The Interior Designer will also meet with clients to understand requirements, present design proposals, incorporate feedback, and support projects from early concept through final installation. The position requires close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, timely solutions aligned with ABI Group’s standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to create functional, visually cohesive layouts. Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture and experience collaborating with architectural and engineering teams on integrated design solutions. Candidates should possess proficiency in developing Construction Drawings and related documentation for implementation and permitting. Candidates should possess expertise in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting. Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) are beneficial. Experience in residential and/or commercial projects, strong visual and technical communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines are highly valued.
