IT Audit Experienced Assistant/Supervisor

Position Overview: Work to perform includes but is not limited to: Involvement in financial audits as Information risk management specialist for performing IT and Application control testing, specifically: Support the identification of information systems relevant to financial reporting, including significant IT applications and key business processes. Assist in reviewing key IT applications, system architecture, and data flows. Perform IT audit procedures and testing of IT controls. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of General IT Controls (GITCs) and application controls. Analyze information systems and related processes supporting business and financial operations. Assist in reviewing IT policies, procedures, and compliance with established control frameworks. Draft audit findings and practical recommendations for review by senior team members. Execute assigned audit areas independently and ensure timely completion of audit procedures. Collaborate with engagement teams and client personnel to understand IT environments and business processes. Support the delivery of high-quality IT audit and assurance engagements. WHAT WE LOOK FOR: At least 1 years’ experience in internal or external IT audit, IT risk and compliance, business process, or compliance audit. University degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, IT audit, Business Administration or related discipline (master’s will be an asset). Fluent in Georgian and English; Knowledge of Russian will be an asset. Ideally have one or several certifications among the following CC, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ITIL Foundation, etc. Good knowledge of information and IT security, IT risk management and privacy-related standards, regulation, e.g. ISO 27001, COBIT, GDPR. Ability to evaluate General IT and IS Controls. Ability to evaluate processes and controls over Business operations and Systems. Rapid learner with effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Detail-oriented with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines. Willingness to travel as required.
