## Job description

Job Description The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, applications, cybersecurity, and technical support services to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations. The role develops and implements technology strategies that align with business objectives, manages IT projects and vendors, and drives digital transformation initiatives to improve productivity and operational performance. The IT Manager ensures system availability, data security, regulatory compliance, and business continuity while providing technology leadership and support to stakeholders across the organization. Responsibilities The IT Manager will: Ensure the secure, reliable, and effective operation of all hotel IT systems and technology. Manage LAN/WAN, servers, network performance, backups, archiving, hardware, software, telecommunications, and connectivity. Identify and resolve hardware, software, network, cybersecurity, and user-related issues. Manage IT installations, upgrades, preventative maintenance, testing, and technology lifecycle activities. Lead and support the Technology Services team and provide effective IT support to hotel employees and guests. Coordinate with hotel management, Corporate and Regional IT, helpdesks, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely resolution of IT issues. Manage IT projects, resources, budgets, licenses, contracts, vendors, and technology assets effectively. Provide IT training, guidance, and technical support to hotel employees. Support the implementation and adoption of new technologies, IT projects, and best practices. Ensure compliance with Hilton IT standards, cybersecurity policies, GDPR, data protection requirements, and internal controls. Monitor security tools, vulnerabilities, firewall rules, remote access, system updates, and other cybersecurity requirements. Oversee third-party technology solutions and ensure they meet Hilton security and technology requirements. Maintain accurate IT documentation, reports, licenses, contracts, and infrastructure records. Support IT audits, self-assessments, Information Security Risk Assessments, and corrective actions. Support the hotel leadership team in using technology to improve operational efficiency, profitability, security, productivity, and guest satisfaction. Maintain effective relationships with Hilton teams, hotel leadership, vendors, and business partners. Participate in IT projects, GTM surveys, hotel meetings, corporate initiatives, and technology programs. Support sister hotels, hotel openings, and other IT initiatives when required. Qualifications Previous experience as an IT Manager, Technology Services Manager, Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or in a supervisory IT role, preferably in hospitality. Strong IT support, troubleshooting, problem-solving, leadership, and customer-service skills. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network architecture, servers, hardware, software, and systems integration. Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, Microsoft Office, VPN, backups, and remote support. Good understanding of cybersecurity, firewalls, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, network segmentation, and secure remote access. Knowledge of GDPR, data protection, IT security policies, audits, and internal controls. Experience managing IT installations, upgrades, projects, vendors, budgets, licenses, and technology assets. Ability to provide effective technical training and support to users with different levels of technical knowledge. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a practical, business-focused approach. Ability to build strong relationships with hotel leadership, Corporate IT, Regional IT, vendors, and business partners. Strong customer focus, with the ability to understand how technology impacts guest experience and hotel operations. Accountable, reliable, resilient, flexible, and adaptable, with a commitment to Hilton standards and policies. Fluent in English and Georgian Languages with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant IT qualifications or certifications are preferred. Hospitality IT experience, team-management experience, and knowledge of Hilton technology standards are advantageous.
