We are looking for a hands-on IT & Security Engineer to support and improve our internal infrastructure, security tooling, and penetration testing lab environment. With 15+ years of experience , ISO 27001 certification, and thousands of completed engagements and training sessions, ISSP combines practical expertise with strong operational capabilities. 🚀 What you’ll do Infrastructure & Systems Manage virtualized environments (VM creation, maintenance, resource optimization) Maintain servers, ensuring system availability, backups, and recovery Maintain and secure Windows, Linux, and macOS systems Install, configure, and harden workstations and servers Manage mobile testing devices (iOS/Android – rooted/jailbroken environments) Network & Access Management Configure and maintain internal network (VLANs, VPNs, firewall rules, DNS) Manage identity and access (VPN, internal tools, lab environments) Ensure secure and traceable access for users Support secure architecture improvements Security & Internal Tooling Deploy and maintain open-source security tools Support SIEM, EDR, XDR, DLP, FIM platforms (engineering & integration level) Perform internal vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking Generate and manage certificates (PKI basics) Pentest Lab & Platform Support Maintain and improve internal pentesting infrastructure: Attack VMs, scanners, reporting tools Training environments and lab Ensure environments are stable, reproducible, and available for testers Maintain and improve Moodle platform (performance, updates, plugins, security, backups) Operational Support Provide technical support to the team Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure or access issues impacting testing 🧠 Requirements 2-3 years of experience in IT, systems, or security engineering Solid understanding of: Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs) Operating systems (Linux + Windows required) Hands-on experience with: Virtualization (VMware, Proxmox, VirtualBox, etc.) System installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Basic understanding of security concepts (hardening, access control, logging) Hands-on experience maintaining or administering Moodle (or similar LMS) is strongly preferred 💡 Nice to have Experience with: Firewall configuration (pfSense, Fortigate, etc.) Email Security Gateway - Fortinet Web Application Firewall - Fortinet, Cloudflare EDR/XDR - CrowdStrike, ESET Scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) Familiarity with penetration testing tools/environments Interest in offensive security 🎯 What we offer Exposure to real-world infrastructure and security challenges Work on real client-driven environments and security operations Hands-on work with both IT and offensive security environments Mentorship from senior security engineers and pentesters Clear growth path toward Security Engineer Certification support ⚠️ Important This is a hands-on technical role , not a traditional help desk position.
