## Job description

We are Olmait, a dynamic team of technology enthusiasts specializing in data science, cloud infrastructures, and data-driven software development. Based in Israel and Georgia, we collaborate with forward-thinking startups across industries such as healthcare, cybersecurity, and e-commerce. Our exceptional development team offers a rewarding work environment and significant opportunities for career growth. A mission-driven Israeli health-tech startup is working to build a smart, digital, and affordable HMO in the US. The company is developing a comprehensive healthcare solution that combines both medical services and health insurance, with a strong focus on reducing healthcare costs through proactive member health management. Their digital platform allows members to manage their health easily — from video calls with doctors and receiving prescriptions and referrals via the app, to tracking lab results and much more. The goal is to empower users with personalized insights that support healthier lifestyles and help prevent medical issues before they arise. A major focus of their work involves analyzing large volumes of health data to uncover patterns and trends that can guide preventive care strategies. By effectively leveraging this data, they aim to provide members with the tools to better understand and manage their long-term well-being. We are currently looking for a professional, service-oriented, and hands-on IT Team Lead to lead a Tier 1 Help Desk team, oversee day-to-day operations, ensure high service quality, and deliver excellent IT support during US business hours. Requirements: Lead and manage the Tier 1 Help Desk team, including coaching, training, performance management, and professional development. Oversee daily Help Desk operations, including ticket assignment, prioritization, workload management, and backlog monitoring. Ensure compliance with SLAs and service KPIs, including response time, resolution time, first-contact resolution, user satisfaction, and ticket aging. Provide hands-on support for complex incidents and assist the team during peak periods. Manage escalations to Tier 2, Tier 3, Security, and external vendors. Create, maintain, and continuously improve support procedures, workflows, and knowledge-base documentation. Oversee IT onboarding and offboarding, including user accounts, permissions, and endpoint equipment. Support the company's SaaS environment, collaboration tools, identity and access management systems, endpoint management solutions, and ticketing platforms. Collaborate closely with Security, HR, Operations, and R&D teams. Identify recurring issues and trends and lead initiatives to improve the employee experience and reduce ticket volume. Ensure adherence to information security policies, least-privilege principles, and secure handling of company data Requirements Previous experience leading or managing an IT support or Help Desk team. Strong hands-on IT support experience, ideally within a SaaS company or global technology organization. Solid general IT knowledge: ITIL, operating systems, endpoint devices, networking, SaaS applications, and user access management. Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management processes. Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment. Excellent service orientation and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users. Experience creating technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge-base articles. Excellent written and spoken English. Availability to work in full alignment with New York business hours (Eastern Time), including seasonal Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustments. For candidates based in Georgia, the expected working hours are: 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM during the U.S. daylight-saving period 5:30 PM – 1:30 AM during the U.S. standard-time (winter) period Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Experience with SSO, MFA, MDM, and user lifecycle management. Familiarity with platforms such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, or Jira Service Management. Experience working in a global organization and managing a remote or distributed team. Relevant certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, Google, Apple, or information security.
