Junior Embedded Software Test Engineer - Space Industry

We are looking for a **Junior Embedded Software Test Engineer** to join an exciting project in the **space industry**.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated junior specialist who already has some hands-on programming experience and wants to grow in embedded development, software testing, system integration, and aerospace technologies.

You do not need many years of experience. What matters most is a strong technical foundation, curiosity, and a genuine interest in developing your career in the space sector.

✅Responsibilities
- Participate in software development and testing for space-industry systems
- Work on application- and hardware-related development tasks
- Implement automated test procedures and test scenarios
- Carry out functional, integration, and system-level testing
- Support system integration activities
- Analyze test results and help identify software or hardware-related issues
- Work with embedded and system-level environments
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and system engineers
- Create and maintain technical and testing documentation
- Continuously improve your technical skills within an international engineering team

✅Requirements
- Completed or ongoing degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Initial hands-on experience in programming
- Basic knowledge of at least one of the following languages:
Java
Python
C++
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming
- Initial experience with Linux or Windows environments
- Interest in embedded systems, software testing, or system integration
- Strong motivation to learn and develop professionally
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in an international team
- Good English communication skills

🖇Nice to Have
- Experience with automated testing
- Understanding of embedded systems or hardware-related development
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools
- Experience with integration testing
- Academic or personal projects related to aerospace, robotics, IoT, or embedded development

📍Location and Eligibility
- Candidates must be based in the EU
- EU citizenship or a valid long-term right to work in the EU is required
- Remote or hybrid work format may be available depending on the project setup
