The legal team works closely with Corporate Counsel and the Capital Transactions Team to support all aspects of the company's portfolio, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, entity management, and tenant relations. POSITION SUMMARY The Junior Paralegal will work directly under the supervision of the Senior Paralegal and in close coordination with the Chief Legal Officer to provide comprehensive legal and administrative support across a broad range of real estate, corporate, and litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to gain substantive experience in commercial real estate law within a fast-paced investment company environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Outside Counsel & Litigation Support Assist in coordinating and communicating with outside counsel on active legal matters, including tracking deadlines, billing, and status updates. Assist in managing and organizing litigation files, including collecting and organizing documents, preparing materials for review, and monitoring case calendars. Help compile records relevant to commercial evictions of shopping center tenants, tenant bankruptcies, and condemnation proceedings. Assist with file maintenance and correspondence for pending and threatened disputes. Entity Portfolio & Compliance Maintain and update the company's entity management database, tracking formation documents, registered agents, annual reports, and good-standing status. Assist with the formation of new legal entities, including preparing and filing organizational documents with state agencies. Monitor and calendar compliance deadlines for entity renewals, annual filings, and related corporate obligations across multiple jurisdictions. Organize and maintain corporate books and records, including operating agreements, resolutions, and certificates. Title, Survey & Acquisition Support Review title commitments and title exception documents under the supervision of the Senior Paralegal, identifying issues for further review and follow-up. Assist in the review and analysis of ALTA/NSPS land surveys for new acquisitions and development projects. Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, and other parties to gather and organize due diligence materials. Maintain organized due diligence checklists and track outstanding items through closing. Real Estate Transactions & Loan Documents Assist in the preparation, proofreading, and organization of real estate sales contracts, purchase and sale agreements, and amendments. Support the review and compilation of loan documents, lender packages, and closing checklists for acquisition and refinancing transactions. Prepare and review escrow letters and related closing correspondence under attorney supervision. Assist with post-closing tasks including recording documents, assembling closing binders, and updating transaction trackers. Outparcel Dispositions, Subdivisions & Easements Provide administrative and drafting support for outparcel dispositions and subdivision matters, including tracking milestones and coordinating with local counsel. Assist in the review, organization, and execution of easement agreements of varying types, including access, utility, cross-parking, ingress/egress, and reciprocal easement agreements. Maintain and update easement tracking logs and related property documentation. Leasing Support Review exclusives and restrictions for each new lease to identify conflicts or required approvals. Compile documents needed for outside counsel leases and prepare exhibits to leases for outside counsel review and execution. Prepare site plans for sign panel exhibits and assist with pylon sign reviews during operation of the property. Work with the marketing team on site plans incorporated into leases. Review necessary matters for new leases, including common area restrictions, parking ratios, and related operational requirements. Review new requests from existing tenants, such as pop-up sales, curbside pickup spaces, and similar operational accommodations. Draft legal letters to defaulting tenants and nonpaying outparcel owners under attorney supervision. Draft sold deal legal letters and related closing correspondence. General Legal & Administrative Support Maintain organized electronic and physical legal files; scan, index, and archive documents according to company protocols. Draft routine legal correspondence, transmittal letters, and notices for review and signature. Calendar critical dates, deadlines, and notice requirements across all active matters. Perform legal research as directed, using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or other available resources. Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed by Corporate Counsel and the Capital Transactions Team. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred. 0–3 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience; real estate or commercial transactional experience a plus. Exposure to corporate entity management, title review, or real estate closings is advantageous. Knowledge & Skills Foundational understanding of real estate law concepts, including title, survey, easements, and basic transactional processes. Familiarity with corporate/entity structures (LLCs, limited partnerships) and state filing requirements. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in document review and preparation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with document management systems a plus. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive legal, financial, and business matters. WORKING CONDITIONS This is a full-time, on-site position based at RCG Ventures' Atlanta, Georgia office. Occasional extended hours may be required to meet transaction or litigation deadlines. The role involves a high volume of document management and review and requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. The legal team works closely with Corporate Counsel and the Capital Transactions Team to support all aspects of the company's portfolio, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, entity management, and tenant relations. POSITION SUMMARY The Junior Paralegal will work directly under the supervision of the Senior Paralegal and in close coordination with the Chief Legal Officer to provide comprehensive legal and administrative support across a broad range of real estate, corporate, and litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to gain substantive experience in commercial real estate law within a fast-paced investment company environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Outside Counsel & Litigation Support Assist in coordinating and communicating with outside counsel on active legal matters, including tracking deadlines, billing, and status updates. Assist in managing and organizing litigation files, including collecting and organizing documents, preparing materials for review, and monitoring case calendars. Help compile records relevant to commercial evictions of shopping center tenants, tenant bankruptcies, and condemnation proceedings. Assist with file maintenance and correspondence for pending and threatened disputes. Entity Portfolio & Compliance Maintain and update the company's entity management database, tracking formation documents, registered agents, annual reports, and good-standing status. Assist with the formation of new legal entities, including preparing and filing organizational documents with state agencies. Monitor and calendar compliance deadlines for entity renewals, annual filings, and related corporate obligations across multiple jurisdictions. Organize and maintain corporate books and records, including operating agreements, resolutions, and certificates. Title, Survey & Acquisition Support Review title commitments and title exception documents under the supervision of the Senior Paralegal, identifying issues for further review and follow-up. Assist in the review and analysis of ALTA/NSPS land surveys for new acquisitions and development projects. Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, and other parties to gather and organize due diligence materials. Maintain organized due diligence checklists and track outstanding items through closing. Real Estate Transactions & Loan Documents Assist in the preparation, proofreading, and organization of real estate sales contracts, purchase and sale agreements, and amendments. Support the review and compilation of loan documents, lender packages, and closing checklists for acquisition and refinancing transactions. Prepare and review escrow letters and related closing correspondence under attorney supervision. Assist with post-closing tasks including recording documents, assembling closing binders, and updating transaction trackers. Outparcel Dispositions, Subdivisions & Easements Provide administrative and drafting support for outparcel dispositions and subdivision matters, including tracking milestones and coordinating with local counsel. Assist in the review, organization, and execution of easement agreements of varying types, including access, utility, cross-parking, ingress/egress, and reciprocal easement agreements. Maintain and update easement tracking logs and related property documentation. Leasing Support Review exclusives and restrictions for each new lease to identify conflicts or required approvals. Compile documents needed for outside counsel leases and prepare exhibits to leases for outside counsel review and execution. Prepare site plans for sign panel exhibits and assist with pylon sign reviews during operation of the property. Work with the marketing team on site plans incorporated into leases. Review necessary matters for new leases, including common area restrictions, parking ratios, and related operational requirements. Review new requests from existing tenants, such as pop-up sales, curbside pickup spaces, and similar operational accommodations. Draft legal letters to defaulting tenants and nonpaying outparcel owners under attorney supervision. Draft sold deal legal letters and related closing correspondence. General Legal & Administrative Support Maintain organized electronic and physical legal files; scan, index, and archive documents according to company protocols. Draft routine legal correspondence, transmittal letters, and notices for review and signature. Calendar critical dates, deadlines, and notice requirements across all active matters. Perform legal research as directed, using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or other available resources. Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed by Corporate Counsel and the Capital Transactions Team. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred. 0–3 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience; real estate or commercial transactional experience a plus. Exposure to corporate entity management, title review, or real estate closings is advantageous. Knowledge & Skills Foundational understanding of real estate law concepts, including title, survey, easements, and basic transactional processes. Familiarity with corporate/entity structures (LLCs, limited partnerships) and state filing requirements. Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in document review and preparation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with document management systems a plus. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive legal, financial, and business matters. WORKING CONDITIONS This is a full-time, on-site position based at RCG Ventures' Atlanta, Georgia office. Occasional extended hours may be required to meet transaction or litigation deadlines.
