I'm looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer for a long-term contract — joining Technium's Managed Services Operations team, supporting secure, cloud-connected networks for customers in mission-critical industries (biotech, healthcare, finance, research).
What you'll do:
🔹 Escalation engineer — advanced diagnosis and resolution of complex network issues
🔹 Configure switches, routers, and NGFWs across complex IP networks and cloud infrastructures
🔹 Technical escalation point and mentor for L1 engineers
🔹 Implement network changes, own performance and uptime SLAs
What we're looking for:
✅ 5+ years of networking experience, deep TCP/IP knowledge
✅ Hands-on with Cisco and Juniper switches/routers
✅ BGP, OSPF, STP, HSRP/VRRP, IPSec, DMVPN, SD-WAN
✅ NGFW (Fortinet / Cisco ASA / Palo Alto) — required
✅ Wireshark, tcpdump, monitoring & ticketing platforms
✅ Excellent English (US-based customers)
Certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Meraki, Checkpoint) and Managed Services background are a plus.
