Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, business-oriented, and strategic legal professional to our Tbilisi office. Legal Associate will provide expert advice to clients, and ensure the highest quality of legal services in Georgia. This role combines hands-on project management and cross-border collaboration within SCHNEIDER GROUP’s international legal network. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Advisory and Project Management Provide strategic legal advice to international clients on market entry, corporate structuring, and ongoing business operations. Independently manage complex legal projects (including M&A, joint ventures, restructurings,). Deliver consultations and legal opinions in English, Russian, and Georgian in the areas of corporate, commercial, and civil law. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts of various types Oversee due diligence processes and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. 2. Legal Representation and Compliance Represent clients before Georgian authorities, regulators, and courts when required. Supervise the legal compliance of internal operations and client projects. Monitor legislative developments and advise clients on their implications. 3. Research, Development, and Thought Leadership Contribute to publications, articles, and client alerts in Georgian, English, or Russian. Promote continuous learning within the team through mentoring and internal workshops. Support the development of business relationships between Georgia, the EU, and CIS countries. Represent the legal practice of the Tbilisi office at the regional and group level. Requirements Education: Law degree from a recognized university; Experience: From 3-5 years of professional experience in legal consulting or an international law/audit firm Background in corporate, commercial, and civil law ; experience in M&A, investment, and regulatory projects would be an additional plus. Proven track record in client relationship management. Excellent communication and drafting skills in English & Georgian is a must. Russian and German is an asset. Key Competencies Strategic and analytical thinking. High client orientation and business acumen. Ability to handle multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
