## Job description

SLP Law Office is looking for a Legal Intern who is curious about legal practice, takes responsibility for their work, and is ready to learn through real client matters. This paid internship offers practical experience in legal research, document preparation, and everyday legal processes, with guidance and feedback from our lawyers. WORKING ARRANGEMENT Mostly remote, with possible attendance at our Tbilisi office once a week. We also welcome applications from students based in Batumi, for whom the internship can be fully remote. Up to 30 hours per week, with the schedule agreed around your university commitments. In-person visits to public authorities, notary offices, and courts may be required for specific assignments. WHAT YOU WILL DO Research legislation and other legal sources relevant to client matters. Assist lawyers in preparing and reviewing contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents. Support ongoing client matters and organise related documentation. Assist with submissions to public authorities and notary offices, and occasionally with court-related documents. Translate legal documents between Georgian and English. Assist with routine administrative tasks that support our legal work. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Enrolment in the 7th or 8th semester of a Bachelor’s programme in law, or in a Master’s programme in law. Excellent written and spoken Georgian. English proficiency at C1 level or above. Knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and confidence using MS Office and online research tools. HOW WE WORK We value thoughtful questions, independent thinking, and clear communication. You should be willing to explain your reasoning, consider feedback, and ask for support when needed. Taking responsibility means keeping track of assignments, meeting agreed deadlines, and raising difficulties early. We also value care in routine tasks: accurate filing and well-organised documents matter alongside legal analysis. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT A paid internship with meaningful exposure to legal work. Guidance and constructive feedback from practising lawyers. Opportunities to develop your research, drafting, and professional communication skills. Clear assignments and increasing responsibility as your skills develop. HOW TO APPLY Send your CV to info@slp.ge with “Legal Intern” in the subject line. In a few sentences, tell us why this internship interests you and what you hope to learn. Application deadline: 31 October 2026.
