Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Manager based in Tbilisi, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing international transportation and freight forwarding operations, ensuring shipments are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with agreed schedules, budgets, and client requirements. The role involves managing end-to-end transport operations, coordinating with international agents, carriers, customs representatives, and clients, monitoring shipment progress, and resolving operational challenges. The Logistics Manager will also contribute to route optimization, cost control, operational reporting, and the continuous improvement of TEZI’s logistics processes. Key Responsibilities * Plan and coordinate international road, sea, rail, and multimodal transportation operations. * Manage shipments across the Caucasus, Central Asia, Europe, and other international markets. * Coordinate with overseas agents, shipping lines, railway operators, trucking companies, terminals, and customs representatives. * Prepare transport plans, calculate logistics costs, obtain quotations, and negotiate rates with service providers. * Monitor shipments from dispatch to final delivery, proactively addressing delays, documentation issues, and operational risks. * Coordinate customs clearance, transit documentation, permits, and other transport-related formalities. * Maintain regular communication with clients and international partners, providing timely shipment updates and operational support. * Maintain accurate shipment records, transport documentation, cost calculations, and operational reports. * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen service quality. * Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of daily operations and compliance with company procedures. Qualifications and Requirements * Proven experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation management. * Practical knowledge of international road freight and multimodal transportation; experience with sea and rail freight is an advantage. * Understanding of customs procedures, transit documentation, and cross-border transportation requirements. * Experience coordinating with international agents, carriers, clients, and other logistics service providers. * Strong negotiation, cost calculation, planning, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively under pressure. * Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship-management skills. * Good command of English; knowledge of Russian is a strong advantage. Georgian is required. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other standard business tools; experience with transport management systems or logistics software is an advantage. * A proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of operational matters. * A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
