Role Description The Mathematics Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based at Millennium School Tbilisi. This role involves planning and delivering mathematics lessons, providing targeted support to students, and collaborating with teaching staff to strengthen the school’s mathematics program. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing engaging learning activities, assessing student progress, offering feedback, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The Mathematics Specialist will also contribute to curriculum development, participate in school meetings as needed, and support the integration of effective mathematics teaching practices across grade levels. Qualifications Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and accurately. Experience with Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning to design coherent, age-appropriate learning sequences. Excellent Communication skills for working with students, guardians, and colleagues in a collaborative school environment. Previous teaching or tutoring experience in mathematics, preferably in a school setting. Relevant degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field. Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning styles and levels. Strong organizational skills and reliability in a part-time, on-site role in Tbilisi.
