Position Overview European School is seeking a passionate and dedicated IB Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics in both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). This role involves fostering a deep understanding of mathematics while inspiring students to think critically, solve problems, and develop a lifelong love for learning. Key Responsibilities Teach Mathematics to MYP and DP students following the IB curriculum guidelines. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students. Foster critical thinking, inquiry, and conceptual understanding in mathematics. Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation. Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum development. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with parents. Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school community. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Teaching certification or equivalent qualification. Experience teaching Mathematics in the IB MYP and DP programs (preferred). Strong understanding of the IB philosophy and curriculum framework. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
